The perfect board
for easy turningearly planinglots of funimproving wavesailing

It’s the most compact one of our wave boards.
It’s the board for those intermediate level wave sailors that want to improve their wave sailing and really get into it!
It’s just easy; easy and fun!
And yet … as a surprise to us all, it can do much more than expected.
“It’s the board I am using most myself right now.” Dany Bruch

“You know how it is: two young kids and a job or business, right? I’ve hardly got time for anything! So when I have got some time to escape for a session, the conditions are what they are, and you simply have to make the most of them.
You just want to have fun!
Thanks to Ben, a customer from Tenerife that pushed me to try the Happy in stronger winds and bigger waves, I discovered the real magic of this board.
It’s a real surfboard in waves. The way it accelerates in the bottom turn; the speed it generates and how carvy or snappy it is in the top turn… It simply has no comparison or rival in the industry.”
“Planing abilities?”
Well, because of its wide tail, you’re going to be the first one planing … and you will always be planing!
“Turn-ability, Riding or Gybing?”
Easy, like never before! Contrary to what most of people think, the wide tail turns with less effort than a regular wide tail, because of what we like to call The Lever Effect. As a result, very little pressure applied through the tips of your toes will make The Happy turn just like that!
The half arc moon tail adds lots of grip and control, acting almost like two pintails.
Last but not least (and better than all our expectations), thanks to its more pronounced bottom shape, in high winds it’s the board that eats chop like nothing else, allowing you to maintain speed and jump effortlessly, whilst giving you the smoothest ride ever!
So, don’t simply pigeon-hole this board into the Stubby shape category; it’s a regular board that will just make you Happy!

SHAPE

The shape of the HAPPY is based on parallel rails that define the outline.
Its a compact-concept board – Short, thick, easy and fun: a skate board to windsurf on.
The extreme tail width, kept thin in the rails, allows to maintain feeling and connection on a waveface.
The thicker mid/front part of the board allows the ease of use while getting through the shore break.
This combination makes this board feel balanced from the first moment you step on it.

``Waves are soft and winds are light? Its Perfect! As everything in life, its all about Attitude. The right tool will help you, so pull it out! Leave the water with a big Smile. Be Happy!``

MORE DETAILS

TAIL SHAPE / ARC – HALF MOON

Back to maximizing rail length, maintaining some width, and removing some area behind the fins.
It almost could be compared to having 2 pin tails, combining grip with the effortless of turning ability of the wide tail.

BOTTOM SHAPE

A deep monoconcave starting around the nose area, maxing at the mast track transforming into a very pronounced double concave between the feet, then ending in an almost flat Vee in the tail.

Why?

The mono concave makes the water flow sucking the bottom surface of the board to the water, allowing control of the board in any hard, windy or choppy conditions.
The stronger pronounced double concave, compared to the other boards of the range, is there to help the board turn easier and keep the grip, as the board is wider.

RAILS

Our rails are very sharp from the tail to the back center of the board, pulling in progressively until they are rounded all the way to the nose of the board.

Why?

This is very simple to explain; the sharp rails on the tail, creates the lift and release to let the fins work and allow direction change with no effort to also give you the extra release on a top turn.
The rounded rails beginning right after your front foot, make the board bite the water and hold on to the surface on a gybe or bottom turn, giving you the amount of control you need to fulfill your turn.

THE ROCKER

All our boards are made to plane early, generate a lot of top end speed for high jumps and always maintain the control of the board, no matter what sort of conditions.
If you are just cruising around, or committing to the bottom turn of your life or going for the highest jump, you can do so with shut eyes.
The Rocker combined with the bottom shape make the board truly alive.

FIN BOXES

The Happy compared to the other 2 boards of the range, will only be available as a thruster set up.

The speciality of this board does not allow a lot of margin to play with other fin set ups, it works amazing as a thruster ticking all the boxes we were looking for and we can’t afford to offer something that does not work as good.

FINS

We recommend our boards to be used with the genuine Bruch G10 fins.

G10 is the most durable construction of a fin, but not only that, we have found the best compromise between durability and flex of the fin.

This will step up your game once again.

Through our package, you benefit from a great deal on some incredible fins as part of the purchase.
